All tires have “wear bars” at2/32nds tread depth. When treadis worn to that point, tires mustbe replaced. Worn out tires posea safety risk.

Have wheel alignment checkedperiodically or if you hit a potholeor road hazard. Misalignment ofwheels can cause uneven and rapidtread wear.

Check tire pressure monthly andbefore long trips. Use the vehiclemanufacturer’s recommendedpressure. Under-inflation wastesfuel and can damage tires.
