Q: the wiring from the battery is blue and not sure from the starter what the color is,
A: When you get to the starter there will be one big wire from battery and a smaller wire going into the engine wire harness, hooked up to the same terminal. That wire goes to the + side of the alternator.The very small wire on the back of the alternator goes to the dash warning lamp.It should also have a good size wire grounding the frame of the alternator to the intake manifold.
