Q: I have a 1979 VW Camper. Does anyone no what oil i should be putting in. (1600cc air cooled engine) I've looked on various websites but seem to be finding different results.
A: Can be straight 30W,or 10/30W . if you are in the southern states 10/40W. All is good. It is not complicated. If it is a bad leaker, then go with bulk oil(which is about 30W) until the repairs are made for the leaks on push rod tube seals
