Q: Can you pls advice what could be the reason for such poor performance. I am shifting the gears as per the instructions given by the service center professional..... Pls help
A: "Crossing" N kms by itself may not help. Did you do the servicing? Please wait till couple of services, change oil and if problem persists, change the service station, and also get in touch with the Tata Indica user group on yahoogroups. Remember that FE depends on so many things too. Is this figure with a/c on? Is this in city driving or highway driving? Bad fuel too can be a culprit (but then, you will get other warnings too). Mostly driving in 2nd and 3rd gear too means more fuel consumption.
