A: I have a 2006 GSX-R750 and on the street I get between 35-40 mpg depending on how hard I ride and how many traffic lights I get stopped at. To save gas simply turn the bike off at traffic lights, only a quick button push and the engine is back on anyway. On the racetrack doing track days I probably get less then 20 mpg, but what do you expect when you are riding hard above 9,000 rpms the whole time.
