A: You need to have the car payed down enough to where you can sell it for the pay-off amount and pay the loan off. It usually takes more than 2 years to do that though. There is no such a thing as someone taking over your payments though so that is not a direction to look at. If you have extra cash to add to the sale amount to pay off the car, that would work too.
