Loyale Manufacturing?

Q: Do you think that Subaru still has the dies/molds/whatever somewhere from the manufacturing of the Loyale? I wonder, if given enough money, someone would be able to produce a "brand-new" Loyale out of these parts. Otherwise, would it be relatively easy to find remanufactured/restoration parts for a complete Loyale restoration? Thanks.

A: Manufacturing suppliers are generally required to maintain service parts distribution for up to at most 10 years (depends on the OEM). In the last decade, Subaru changed parent companies three times: from Fuji Heavy Industries (original parent company), GM, back to Fuji, and now to Toyota. Very unlikely that each of the 100+ factories in the supply chain would keep a few tons of rusting steel around; especially not in a Lean Mfg environment.
