Q: are they generally good cars? what is your opinion of them?
A: yes, Subaru is more reliable than Honda, Toyota, and Nissan! my 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5i has 89,000 miles . (i drive 90 miles going to and from work each day) and it has been 100% trouble FREE. im even still on my original brakes and rotors. I do all the routine maintenance on it myself, and it is very easy (ex. oil, transmission fluid, air filters, spark plugs etc.) and it get 32mpg on the highway. it also goes through 3 feet of snow WITHOUT slipping
