Q: I was told to only use Toyota stuff for my car but I cant find andy Toyota gas stations in my area. Would it void my warranty if I used a different brand of gas??? The sales guy at the dealer told me to only use Scion or Toyota stuff for my car or it will void the warranty.
A: Is this a serious question? Did they tell you to check your headlight fluid periodically and lube your exhaust bearings too? That's very important. There is no such thing as a Toyota Gas Station. Not anywhere on this earth will you find one. It doesn't matter what gas station you go to as long as you fill the correct octane. In your user manual (the booklet in your glove box) should be written in text the minimum octane rating for your car. Avoiding diesel will save you a trip to the dealership.
