Q: going out of town really early in the morning before any shops open. i need to put in transmission fluid, but i don't know where to put it! help please we looked in the owner's manual and it didnt tell where to actually pour the fluid. i have a twelve hour trip so i need to put it in tonight

A: It goes in the transmission ;) Seriously though, If you have the owner's manual, it will say in there. EDIT: It is usually the same place where the transmission dipstick is. you need a funnel to pour it down in the dipstick hole. Oh, and also, be very careful not to overfill it. there might not be a drain plug to get rid of extra, so you'd have to remove the whole bottom pan (or siphon it) to get out extra fluid.
