Q: I think this is a very unsual problem. My husband was driving our peugoet 806 today when it suddenley went bang my husband felt a large blow to his chest he was help out by passer by who tried to turn the engine again it went bang. it has blown out the passenager seat belt casing the seat belt has gone stiff and unable to move it. my husband was taken to hospital he is ok he has suffered a large electric shock but ok apart from a sore chest I wondered if anyone else has had anything similar happen. we are waiting for the car to be towed to peugeot dealer
A: The seatbelt pretensioners have fired by accident - very unusual & ridiculously dangerous. Contact Peugeot and suggest they get the cheque book out!
