Q: Basically, Ive Just Passed My Test And Im Gettin A Peugeot 206 either 1.1 or 1.4. This may seem pathetic as you would think any boy whos just passed their test would take any car but the car i really want in a certain colour is a 1.1 but its one of the very few for sale in my area. All my mates have got 1.4's etc and im afraid that by having a 1.1 im guna be the laughing stock because my car will be slower than others..Could someone tell me a little more info on the differences please? If a 1.4 is alot quicker, then i would obviously have to wait till one comes around..but realistically, i just want to know if there is much difference between the two sizes speed wise. A: There is quite a bit of difference in speed between the 1.1 and the 1.4 models, 1.1 0-60 = 15.1 seconds Top speed 98mph /60bhp 1.4 0-60 = 12.2 seconds Top speed 107mph /75bhp Fuel economy is very similar, you will 1 more mpg with the 1.1.
