Q: From around 20mph, a loudish knocking sound can be heard. It appears to be coming from beneath the car but can't really tell whether it's nearer the front or back. It does it whether the car is in or out of gear, accelerating or decelerating. I can't notice it when the car is stationery or from about 50mph upwards. It doesn't seem to affect the handling or performance of the car at all but is quite worrying. Any suggestions ? I probable should add that the car is only 4 years old and has only done 22000 miles ! Thanks to everyone who has replied so far !! Certainly some food for thought.

A: bottom end of engine or anti roll bar that joins your wheels together would be majour problems or could be simple thing like wheel bearing loose exhaust braket etc take it to a agrage and ask them to listen to it
