Q: I am looking to increase the performance of my normaly aspired Peugeot 206 1.9 Diesel 1.9d LX (2001 model). I am mainly wanting to a fit a turbo to the car, is this possible and if so what turbo can i fit and could I have some links! Allso is there any other modifications I can make to improve performance? But the main question is definately Can I install a turbo in my Peugeot 1.9 Diesel 206? Thanks in advance guys!
A: The firm I work for has a couple of Partners with that engine and they are horribly gutless and asthmatic. I don't think that you'll be able to just bolt on a turbo due to the compression ratio of the engine being too high, the best solution if you can't trade the car in for one more powerful would be to get a turbo engine and intercooler and pipework etc out of a 206 with a dt engine.
