Q: The vihecle drive perfect and gear changing well. I checked the clucth cable was in good condition, do you think is it to do with cover plate spring? thank you
A: If the clutch is hard when depressing then it will be equally as hard to press the clutch. Look around the clutch pedal these have an spring assister and at a certain wear point in the life of the clutch. the pedal would stick half way down (or half way up depending on your out luck on life) so the modification was to remove the assister so yours may have been removed . Or you may just require a new clutch .
