my 206 has started to turn on its hazard light automatically which ran my battery down can anyone help?

Q:

A: You have either a wiring fault causing a short circuit, or far more likely that you have a faulty switch. You would normally have to leave the hazards flashing for a long while to flatten the battery so your battery may be in poor condition or you may even have another fault. Replace the switch with another one and see if that solves the problem. They're expensive new, but very cheap from scrapyards and faulty ones are uncommon. You might be able to remove your hazard switch temporarily, but on many vehicles it also disables the indicators (turn signals).
