Q: I had a bit of a bump and the bonnet is a bit knackered. I figured it would be cheaper to buy a spare one off ebay than take it to a panel beater but how do i take it off??

A: Here are some photos of the 206 bolts you need to remove. Just remove the 4 bolts that attach to the bonnet, and not the 4 bolts that attach to the body of the car. 11 millimeter bolt heads, I think. PHOTO: see the red arrows? http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh155/trevor_trillion/Peugeot206ccrightside8bolts41.jpg Do not fully tighten the 4 bolts (2 each side) until you are sure of the proper alignment when the bonnet is closed. Have a friend help you lift and align the HEAVY bonnet perfectly, then tighten all 4 bolts. Good for you..doing it yourself! What jealous person would give a 'thumbs down' to a perfect answer with PHOTO! ???
