Q: There is fuel in!! The strange thing about this fault is we own 2 106's both "S" reg and the fuel gauges failed within 10 days of each other!! Conspiracy theories not needed thanks, just help!! Thanks in advance. Andy
A: After checking the fuses, if thats not the problem, it might be worth checking the top of the fuel pump that is fitted at the top of the fuel tank. A wire might have disconnected or the fuel pump might have packed up. Or it may be that the float inside the tank is stuck. Needless to say there may be many reasons. Another reason it is showing empty is that the fuel gauge in the dashboard is faulty
