Q: My peugeot 307 has been making a very weird behaviour from about 3 weeks. It happens when I start the car's battery (but not the engine). The odometer gives a wrench sign and a flashing "-200". A couple of days later, the same happens but with "-300" flashing as well as the wrench sign. Now, it's "-400" and the wrench sign also. It's not an urgent issue as the car handles well and doesn't show any defect.

A: wrench sign is the usual indicator for service, it'll appear when the next service is due. -200, -300 are the mileage that you've used the vehicle in excess from the service point. You can either service the car and they'll reset the wrench mark or press the trip meter set button while ignition is being switched off and while pressing the button switch on the ignition key. you'll see a countdown from 10 to 0 on the display and when its 0 your wrench mark will go off
