A: hi there. You should be ok up to 17 inch alloys. You wouldnt look stupid going into Halfords as half of them are clueless anyway. Try google ( cheep alloy wheels), you should find something there. Failing that r-tec in st albans aer really good,it just depends on where you are. Dont be afraid to ask anyone in these sort of shops as you cant just stick on a set of alloys to a car. tyre size and bolt centres could be different. good luck.
