Q: my car suddenly lost most of its power and engine management light came on. after a couple of days without me doing anything.....the engine management light went off but the car still didnt gain any more power so i took it to the local garage who changed the spark plugs, put a new coilpack in and its still the same. a new injector was put in and the problems still there, can anyone help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz the cars misfiring as well.. only runny on 3 cylinders
A: hey i have the same car with the same problem it sounds like by your description, i've been told to have the stepper motor checked and cleaned, it's meant to be a common problem, as for that annoying engine management light, same again, it's a common fault, mine comes and goes, kept having it checked to be told they carn't find any problems so gave up and i just put up with it now. hope you get yours fixed, as for me mines of to the garage next week for a tonne of work,doh
