Q: On these cars the spare wheel is underneath the back of the car instead of inside the boot. To hold the wheel is a metal brace thing to carry the wheel. I bought my 309 last week and it's gone.... I have the bolt all I need is this wheel carrier. I've looked on the internet and cant find it. Anyone know where I can get one? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
A: Peugeot spare parts for this "wheel carrier" or "Wheel basket" will be long gone from a 309, discontinued in 1993? Or expensive enough to make you laugh. Can you imagine the Peugeot guy saying, "two pounds of iron bars...30 quid please". I can. BREAKER yard! I recommend. If you want to pay the postage from Belgium, I will send one to England for free. I have 205's for spares, and it's the same little basket.
