Q: the airbag light is on in my 2002 peugeot 206,i bought the car after it got a tip,i replaced the airbags and i think the set belts were a bit damaged.i brought the car to some who specialises in this area and they said id have to replace the seatbelts before the computer could knock off the light.is ther any easy way off doing this myself??????????
A: under neath the front seats you will find a plug that goes to the seat belt tensioners.unplug it and then plug it in again do this a few times until the light goes out,a common fault on these cars as well as the Citroen's ..its to do with a bad earth,i do this to mine when it occurs every few weeks our so ;)
