A: Hi, you do not mention if its diesel or not, when i bought mine (r reg) a couple months ago, it kept reving, look where the accelerator cable goes into the pump, there is a damper, press the accelerator and release, the damper stops it returning quickly, if you spray wd40 on this it should help. It fixed mine anyway, the damper is black( like a small shock absorber on suspension). Hope this helps.
