Q: I am having a problem with the indicators, having a mind of their own!! After doing some research, this seems to be a common fault in the 206. It was suggested by other owners to remove the steering wheel case and spray the indicator stalk with wd40. But,, I cannot find the screws!!!!

A: On every Peugeot I have ever had, you first remove the plastic covers under the steering wheel. Small phillips screws are hidden in deep holes in the plastic. Usually there are 4 of those. Maybe after removing the 4 screws underneath, the plastic can be lowered and the UPPER plastic cover can be removed? On some models, there were new screws, not hidden. NOTE: You never have to remove the steering wheel to remove the indicator stalk. NEVER! You can usually remove the indicator stalk with a small TORX screwdriver (star-shaped). CAREFUL, on a 306, the stalk easily falls apart into 2 halves, and a little 'slider' falls on the floor. The 206 may be just as fragile. I have tried to repair indicator stalks by opening them. (205, 305, 405) IMPOSSIBLE. They contain springs, sliding contacts and small copper surfaces. Cannot be serviced, only replaced. Sorry. good luck.
