indicators on my 307 are faulty. could any one tell me if you have any problems or is just me?

Q: if i indicate left the indicator woul overlap on the right

A: The turn indicator stalk on the steering column would be my educated guess. This complicated stalk is a combination of switches for indicators, horn, lights = on, high, low. Inside the stalk there is a series of sliding copper plates, springs and printed circuits...in other words, you cannot repair it yourself. YOU probably have two tiny pieces that are touching each other accidentally. This is a rare problem, but I have had it myself on the 405 (1989). YOU can replace it yourself with only a small phillips screwdriver to remove the plastic lower cover around the steering wheel. A "torx" screwdriver might be necessary to remove the stalk from the metal steering column. (It was on the 306 models). Be careful with your NEW stalk. Sometimes the plastic box comes apart easily in two halves, and sliding parts fall out. This happened to me while removing a stalk on a 306.
