Q: peugeot 406 why dose my break peddle keep sinking i have changed master cilinder checked frount caiper that is moveing freelly blead system twice what can the problem be help yes no leaks in system no floid loss

A: As mentioned previously diesel models do tend to suffer from creap, I noted this in my previous 306 Dturbo. As long as you are getting the brakes to work I would not worry about it too much. I have had a 306 s16 for three years now and have the exact same problem and this is a petrol and the common denominator is that both cars had ABS. With the engine off pump the brakes several times until it goes firm, then with your foot on the brakes start the engine. If it drops to the floor quickly you might have a problem, but if it stays firm or sinks slowly you should be ok. You might be able to get some better answers from an owners club forum such as http://www.club-306.com. That particulae one is mainly 306 owners but the mechanicals are the same and there are some really knowledgable people there.
