Q: Its year 2000, 5 door, 5 speed manuel with AC

A: There are 2 driveshafts. A short one on the left side, and a much longer one on the right, with an "intermediate bearing". Generally the one that makes noise is the one that spins faster going around a curve. The OUTSIDE of the circle. If it constantly makes a low grinding noise, like a mini-cement mixer, this is probably the intermediate bearing of the longer shaft. What's the exact reason you need a replacement, may I ask? The longer one, for my 205, was 160 euro last year. NOT a Peugeot brand, but an after market brand.
