Q: to explain the history quickly... recently started using 'redex' diesel treatment on the Pug D Turbo. At first it seem to have positive results, better mileage and a little whistle started to be audible (what i assumed to be the turbo as it had been cleaned witht he treatment?) preformance on the accelarator also seemed a little better. Since I fill my car up as soon as it hits half full, effectively never going beyond half empty ever I only used 1/4 bottle at a time instead of half... however I have notice the whistling getting slightly louder and this morning the ar seemed to be a bit more chuggy (like the engine been hyped up) in the engine and didn't seem to have enough power on the accelarator... any ideas? have i 'over' treated? or maybe a problem with the turbo or exhaust?
A: Hi, check all pipes coming from the turbo to the inlet manifold,whistling =air leak, chuggy = lack of air to fuel. I would not worry about diesel treatment,look for AIR LEAKS good luck.Bob. (ps have alook on the Citroen owners lots of engineers)
