Q: I wont to buy a pegeout 106 its registered the 28th of September 2001 and it dont have POS (power steering) now i got told that on small cars like the 106 and saxo its not hard to steer anyway but i am not sure if thats true. I wont to know if it is actualy easy to steer. Right now i have a citroen 1.4 but i need to get 106 as its 1.2 and its cheap to run and insure the citroen has power steering and the steeringwheel its way too light when i tried my mates punto its a 1.2 1998 it is also small but the steering is just way too heavy would it be just as heavy on the 106 or would be be just fine ? PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW

A: If you decide to go for it i'm sure you'll get used to the steering. Two things to bear i mind are that the car will come as standard with fairly narrow tyres - keep them as they are, if you go wider the steering will be heavier(maybe your friend has changed the wheels on his Punto). Secondly, keep a close eye on your tyre pressures, keep them at the recommended level, if your tyres are under inflated your steering will be heavier.
