I am looking at buying a Peugeot 106, but am unsure as to whether to go for an XSI or Rallye. Any suggestions?

Q: Is it best to opt for the older 1.4 XSI or 1.3 Rallye, or the later 1.6 versions? What is the difference in speed 0-60mph?

A: Here are 24 reviews by owners who like the 1.4 XSi. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews4878.html The older 106, from 1991 on could have the 1.6 engine also: A 1.6-litre fuel injected engine was introduced on the 1995 XSi model, with 120 mph (193 km/h) top speed. From 1997-1998 the Phase 2 Rallye was offered, and these combined the light, nimble chassis of the Phase 1 Rallye, with a 1.6 litre petrol injection engine (TU5J2, 103 bhp) and updated looks and safety features of the later models (1996-1999). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peugeot_106 ZERO TO 60 mph?? for every Peugeot 106 model made, 3door, 5door, petrol, diesel: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=656 The model year is also noted (96) (94) etc. The fastest one of all has the 1.6 16V GTi , 128 mph top speed 120 bhp . 8.4 seconds from 0 - 60mph.
