Q: Hi I have a 307 HDI diesel, It will not rev up when cold, its not the airflow meter, or temperature sensors, or the knock sensor and now my Peugeot main dealer have given up, Anybody had this fault or any suggestions. When its warm it drives fine. 4 * new glow plugs fitted, all injectors ok, not the crankshaft sensor either
A: change the starter heater coils, it could be that simple or the injectors may need a clean. When its hot give it a few high revs, see how much muck comes out the exhaust in the mirror. Also drain of any water from the fuel filter.
