Q: Whenever i turn on the heater it blows a stinky smell, but i don't get it if i am using a/c. What is wrong? And also, it gets hot inside the car and i still have steamy windows. They never get dry completely. Please help
A: You have a crack in your heater core. the crack is allowing coolant to leak, and it stinks, and the coolant steams up the inside of your car. With the A/C/ on that steaminess is cooled and condensed thru the A/C system, it dehumidifies as well as cools the air.
