Q: would it be a fuse.
A: Could just be the fuse for the fan . Have a look in the cars fuse box ( Most likely underneath the steering wheel) there will be a diagram explaining what fuse is what. Just pull out the fuse for the fan and see if it's broken. You can get replacements from most petrol stations. Just make sure you put the correct size back in in.
