Q: Several times when I have locked our 807, the mirrors go into position and the vehicle locks but the indicators etc; are flashing fast - as if the alarm is going off without the sound. I have tried unlocking and locking again and also firing the ignition and then repeating the locking process, it doesn't help, it just eventually stops.. has anyone got any idea what the problem is, I'm not sure if I've activated something accidentally - the handbook does not mention anything about this in the troubleshooting pages! It doesn't happen every time either.. Any info much appreciated!
A: I don't have an 807. (I have 205's, 405's), But most of my "mysterious electrical problems" that happen just sometimes, are caused by rainwater that collects in the engine compartment. Rainwater runs down the windscreen, but fails to drain through rubber hoses to the ground. Then water can run down into the fuse-box area. Check to see that your drain hoses aren't clogged by old leaves, seeds, dirt. If so, poke a wire or dowel down there, and dry out all moisture under dash. Honestly, I am just guessing for you..
