Q: Keep having problems starting my peugeot 106 gti - it's like it all year round (ie not the cold weather), battery is fine according to numerous mechanics, and it's just had a full service, all new plugs, etc. Anyone any ideas what is could be?? Year is 98 or 99 (S reg) CC is 1600 Thanks
A: if the car turns over ok but just will not fire up 106 do have a problem with the transponda aerial around the ignition switch,when it does'nt start you really need someone with some diognostic equipment to jump on it and see if the engine ECU has unlocked,if it has'nt its probably the aerial at faultor in rare cases the ignition key
