I am goin to take it for service, but i wanna know if therz anythin i can do before this. added to that, the orange light comes on sometimes. to trevor trillion: nah the acceleration is fine.. the orange light comes on during gear transmission, it just not a fluid transmission frm say gear 1 to gear 2. the jerking motion happens sometimes but not all the time, and it feels almost like the car is goin to stall.
A: It could be time for a new clutch. If you have a clutch. Do you also have NO acceleration when you try to speed up and overtake another car? CLUTCH disc is worn down. Just go to the garage and let an expert drive it for 30 seconds. Jerking and steering wheel vibration (while braking) means your front brake discs are not perfectly flat anymore. Is this what you have? Edited after your add'l details... Your car is too new to have loose motor mounts. I will guess that you have an automatic transmission, and something needs adjusted for a smoother gear change. CHECK to SEE that all rubber hoses going to the carburettor or fuel injection are on tightly. We don't want any vacuum leaks to your fuel system (stalling upon engine load). You didn't say petrol or deisel....I'm all out of guesses now. Time to visit someone closer than I am, ha ha.
