Q: Ok so im doing a debate in class & i dont get it
A: Maturity. I'm 28 now but I still remember the things I did with a car as a 16-18 yr old in high school. At that age you have no respect for the power of any car. Even the crappiest of cars can do 85+ mph which at least in my city was 30 over even on the highways at the time. I didn't know that braking distance goes up much faster than speed rises (2x the speed, 4x the distance). A car was just another toy for us to ride on/in, jump, put into a lake, etc.
