Q: I'm looking for the most economical van. Are the 1.6 hdi berlingo- partners the best or VW Caddy 1.9 tdi. I find it hard to get MPG's for commercial vehicles. If there's a more economical van than these i would be interested to know. As well can the new berlingo-partners run on bio-diesel and can the new caddy run on bio-diesel ?
A: All the respective van types will have the fuel consumption figures in the blurbs and handbooks,but these figures are in optimum conditions with the vehicle running light.What weights are you intending to load it with ?You can ruin any diesel pump by filling the tank with mixes that do not have the correct burn and ignition rates,your choice.
