Q: I've just bought a megane on a 04 plate and have noticed a couple of things : 1) when the car is stationary, it putters slightly (as if i can feel stuff going through the engine) this causes the car to rock slightly. 2) when I have been travelling at speed and then take my foot off the accelerator, the car makes a noise (noise sounds like i've gone down a gear) These are not major problems, I just want to know if they are indicators of anything, so i can get them sorted whilst still under garuntee. A: Well you should take it to the service to have it checked about the first thing. And about the second it's because you're at high RPM and when you release the throttle the engine brakes and makes that sound - it's normal on any car.
