A: I worked at an auto shop for quite a while...and I think the Maxima or Accord would be your best bet as far as not seeing your mechanic too often. Check into the maintenance schedules...some of the Nissans have timing chains rather than belts which can save you alot of money in maintenance. I think the Nissans are a bit more comfortable for long trips also - what year are you looking at? Either way...keep up on the scheduled mainenance...these cars will last forever if you doo...have seen many of both models with a quarter of a million miles on them if they were taken care of. Fluid changes are key to prolonging the life of your engine and gear boxes!
