Q: So i just bought a 1995 4 door saturn with automatic transmission. Just to the right of the gear shift in the middle console, there is an oval button with a white dot on it. I havn't been able to figure out what it does because the writing on it is faded. Does anyone know what the button does?
A: The button in my 94 Saturn says "performance" where the colored dot is, and "normal" on the other side. It is the overdrive button, and it is useless unless you are planning on trying to drive the speed limit up a steep hill on the freeway (not recommended by the way). You should experiment with it and see if you notice a difference.
