A: The new ZR1 is much faster than the GT-R in any race. A stock ZR1 with a good driver should be able to get in the 10's 1/4 mile, as a guy by the name of ranger (i think he's on youtube) has run 10.90's with a stock ZO6, which has about 120 less hp than the ZR1. Most magazines have the ZO6 from anywhere between 11.50 and 11.90. The GTR should be around the mid to high 11's 1/4 mile. I have also seen a video of a stock ZO6 beating a stock GTR from a roll and from a dig, and it beat it pretty badly. The GTR is a beast, but it is not the world beater it was made out to be. If it can't handle the ZO6 then in no way does it want any of the ZR1. It will be a brutal beatdown. The ZR1 should win, however, as it has 140 more hp and is much lighter. The first poster is probably seeing the times for the C4 ZR1, made in the early 90's with a 405 hp 5.7L V8, the C6 ZR1 is a much different animal with a 6.2L 620hp supercharged mill.
