Q: I have checked the UK Vehicle Tax website but they only list 'disabled' or SORN. Can a vehicle be tax exempt for any other reason? Many thanks! Vehicles found on the Autotrader (UK) website. Also noticed that a 1971 Triumph Spitfire is listed as Tax exempt.
A: Certain vehicles constructed before 1st January 1973 are exempt. They will be in the 'Historic Vehicles' class.
