Q: About a month ago I saw the Saturn Astra for the first time. I was really impressed. A sweet car for a good price (range $17.5K - $21K). Upon some further research, I found that the Saturn Astra is a copy and paste of the Opal Astra from Europe, with some "North-Americanization" on the interior. No wonder it drives so nice. Anyone have one? Test drove one?
A: test drove one, yes, impressed, yes. highly impressed? no. in that same size, design and price range, check out the Mazda 3s 5 door. it's got more power, smoother, faster, and handles better... i also prefer the Vibe/Matrix overall, but in this class the Astra would be my third choice.
