A: It depends entirely on the type of vehicle, number of cylinders, and the capacity of the engine, not to mention the speed you are driving at, whether you have the airconditioner on, head winds, incline of the roads you are travelling, and how fast/heavy you take off at lights etc. In my car (Mazda 6), I can get up to 500 klms on 35 litres of petrol, but it is dependant on road conditions and the speed I am travelling at. Sometimes it is less, sometimes if I am doing country trips (open roads, steady speed, less stopping and starting) I can get more klms.
