Q: i want to know witch car has the best m.p.g
A: Honda Insight. It was the 1st Hybrid in America made from 2001-2006. It is a 2 seater car bigger than the Smart Fortwo. It got 60mpg city and 66mpg highway. That is about 15mpg better than the bigger, heavier Toyota Prius, which came out 2 years later. 2nd is Toyota Prius averaging 48mpg. 3rd is the Turbo Diesel Golf/Jetta/Beetle all getting 40mpg city and 44mpg highway. This was discontinued in 2004. But they will make new ones soon.
