Q: i wanted to know if the lotus elise *awesome looking exotic car!!!* is good or bad. because i have read that they can be good, and bad. so could you please point out the pros and the cons of this AWESOME LOOKING CAR!!?? cuz i might buy one when im older. and if this is a bad car, could you name a better exotic car?
A: It's very mission-specific. The Elise is very small - it's an uncomfortable fit if you're even a large person, and forget carrying much beyond yourself, your wallet, one slim passenger and maybe an overnight bag or two. The engine is Toyota, so no worries there. The chassis is ultralight, so you get the most oomph from the power. But is it a good car? There are two close to me that I see being driven in the daily commute - at least four days out of five. So obviously some folks think they're tractable enough to use in the daily grind. As relatively rare streetable racecars go, the Elise is an excellent car, very easy to live with.
