Q: Just bought the car, and would like to know what this switch does. It's below the instriment panel, left of the steering wheel. Has the outline of a car, a dot in the middle, and sets of brackets. There is a small light on it which illuminates when the ignition is switched off. It doesn't seem to do any thing, but i'm sure that the maker put it there for a reason.
A: Its the alarm, for when you leave the roof down, you can switch it off. I could send you some details from a handbook if you wish.
