Q: I bought new LED Stop and Tail light bulbs, when i put them in ,they flickered when on rear lights. When foot brake was applied they worked OK. I tried the bulbs in a Ford Focus and they worked as normal bulbs.also in test holder
A: Some vehicles as the freelander have the lights linked to a control unit that monitors blown bulbs... as the LED's have a very low current drain compared to a normal bulb, the control unit cannot work with them.. You can however buy special LED bulbs that work with these... I have read somewhere that fitting resistors works in some cars, but not others.
